To explore the effect of taurine in low protein dietary on the growth performance, body composition, physiological and biochemical parameters of Cyprinus carpio haematopterus, the Cyprinus carpio haematopterus of control group were feed on 35% crude protein diets(the control group,I) the experimental groups were feed on 25% crude protein diets with taurine: 0%(experimental group,II), 0.3%(experimental group, III), 0.6%(experimental group, IV), 0.9%(experimental group,V), 1.2%(experimental group,VI). The fish were feed for 45 d, the results were as follows:The impact on the growth performance showed: the weight gain of experimental group V and the control group had no significant difference(P>0.05), the liver index and fatness value of the control group were better than the test group, but the difference between groups was not significant(P> 0.05), FCR of group I lower group V was had a significant(P <0.05), weight gain experimental group V, FCR experimental group V showed best amount of taurine. The influence on body composition of Cyprinus carpio haematopterus: the difference between muscle moisture and ash content in the control group and that in the experimental group was not significant(P> 0.05); muscle crude protein in the experimental group V was the highest, the lowest fat, and had no significant difference compared to the control group(P> 0.05). Experimental group V as an indicator of crude protein and fat content of taurine optimum dosage. The impact on the digestive physiology: the digestibility of group IV reached a maximum, and it had no significant difference(P>0.05) with the digestibility of the control group; the influence on the intestinal chorionic height of Cyprinus carpio haematopterus: the intestinal chorionic height of group V was slightly lower than that of control group, had no significant difference compared to the control group(P> 0.05); the impact on digestive enzymes: lipase activity in hepatopancreas of group VI reached a maximum in low crude protein diets groups, slightly lower than control group, the difference was not significant(P> 0.05)between them; the intestinal lipase activity of group V, VI were higher than control group and the difference was significant(P<0.05); the protease activity in liver and pancreas of experimental groups were lower than the control group, the difference was significant(P<0.05); Digestibility of experimental group IV, the intestinal chorionic height of experimental group V, lipase activity of liverd and intestinal in experimental group VI showed best amount of taurine. The impact on cholesterol, triglycerides and SOD of Cyprinus carpio haematopterus: Experimental group V was Minimum in liver cholesterol, experimenta group IV was Minimum in serum cholesterol, had no significant difference compared to the control group(P> 0.05). Experimental group IV was the lowest in liver triglyceride, experimental group V was the lowest in serum triglyceride, Liver and serum SOD activity was higher than control group, but had no significant difference compared to the control group(P> 0.05). Experimental group V was minimum in Liver cholesterol and SOD activity of the highest, serum triglyceride was the lowest and serum SOD was the highest, showed best amount of taurine. The experiment shows that different concentrations of taurine at 25% crude protein diet, experimental group and control group had no significant difference and even some index test group better than the control group in Cyprinus carpio haematopterus test index on growth performance, body composition, physiological and biochemical index, but activity liver and Intestinal in protease experimental group was lower than control group and had a significant difference.
