Exploration and utilization of flax (Linum usitatissimum L.) germplasm resources are effective ways to breakthrough of breeding works. The appraisal and evaluation of germplasm resources genetic diversity is particularly important. The morphologic and molecular markers’research of introduced flax germplasm resources can largely improve the work of sorting and identification of flax germplasm resources. In order to investigate and evaluate the genetic diversity of oil flax varieties introduced from abroad, comprehensive evaluation and comparison of 80 oil flax were tested at morphological and genetic aspects. Main results were as follows:(1)This study examines the major agronomic characters from 80 flax materials. The results show that Variation of coefficient of grain weight per plant was most significant which is 57.73%,and the range of change was 0.01~4.12. And it is followed by stem number, main stem primary branch number, fruit of a count, process length, thousand seed weight, plant height and seed number per capsule in turn.(2)Average number of growth days of 80 flax varieties is 94.85 Among them the shortest is No.2, growth period is 83. The longest is No.75, for 106 days(3)The 80 flax germplasm resources were divided into six groups according to the Euclidean distance among agronomic traits. Varieties of flax with similar character will be classified as a class. The variation coefficient of third group various characters is lowest, is the relatively stable high-yield groups, can be used as parent targets of high yield breeding.(4)7 pairs of AFLP primers were used for amplification of 80 accessions of flax germplasm resources.192 clear loci were amplified in which polymorphic loci were 160.On average, each pair of primers can amplificated out of 27.4 clear loci and 22.9 polymorphism loci Polymorphism loci average rate was 83.6% which indicated that the genetic diversity is more noticeable.(5)Clustering analysis of germplasms resources evaluation results used AFLP molecular markers divided 80 collections flax into eight groups at genetic level. The classification results showed that materials group division is relative to geographic origin and agronomic traits. Of which genetic differences is smaller between germplasms from America and Canada, China and Pakistan. And the group of germplasms resources from Russia, Hungary, Ireland, and France is different from others significantly.
