With 34 years old of Cinnamomum burmanni plantation ecosystem as the research object, the carbon content, storage and distribution, nutrient elements content, storage and distribution of tree layer, nitrogen storage of the ecosystem, the metrology characteristics of carbon and 5 nutrient elements, FTIG spectra characteristic of difference components in the ecosystem were studied. The results showed that:(1) The average carbon content in different organs of Cinnamomum burmanni plantation was 511.21 g/kg, with the order of middle root>root tip >leaf>stem>coarse root>fine root> bark>dead branch>flesh branch. Carbon content of shrub layer、grass layer and litter layer were 502.60、500.67 and 495.06 g/kg, respectively. The carbon content in 0~20、20-~40、40~60、 60-100cm of soil layer were 19.91、9.32、7.65、6.27、5.41 g/kg, respectively. The ecosystem own a high level of carbon content. The average content of nutrient elements in tree layer showed as Ca (4.40 g/kg)>N (2.18g/kg)>K (2.80 g/kg)>P (0.59 g/kg)>Mg (0.32 g/kg), owning high Ca content.(2) The total carbon storage of Cinnamomum burmanni plantation ecosystem was 338.15 t/hm2, and vegetation and soil layer were 204.33、133.82 t/hm2, respectively. Tree layer was the mail carbon library in Cinnamomum burmanni plantation ecosystem. The annual net carbon sequestratio and annual net carbon accumulation of tree layer were 14.76 t·hm2.a-1 and 5.90 t·hm2.a-1, respectively. Cinnamomum burmanni has a high carbon sequestratio potential, can be used as a ideal tree for carbon forest in the south.(3) The total Nitrogen storage of Cinnamomum burmanni plantation ecosystem was 12692.91kg/hm2, and tree layer accounted for 91.86% of the total vegetation layer, vegetation and soil layer were accounted for 9.45% and 90.55%, respectively, soil layer was the mail carbon library in Cinnamomum burmanni plantation ecosystem.(4) The total storage of 5 nutrient elements in Cinnamomum burmanni plantation ecosystem was 4284.90 kg/hm2, with the order of Ca>N>K>P>Mg. For the total storage of 5 nutrient elements, all the organs of tree layer showed as flesh branch>stem>leaf>bark>root tip> coarse root>dead branch> middle root >fine root. The annual net accumulation amount of 5 nutrient elements was 126.03 kg/hm.a-1, showing a very high nutrient enrichment capability; with the order of Ca>N>K>P>Mg.(5) Cinnamomum burmanni plantation averagely product It dry biomass required the total amount of N, P, K, Ca, Mg nutrient elements for 10.91 Kg, with the order of Ca>N>K>P>Mg; The average nutrient utilization efficiency of Cinnamomum burmanni was low.(6) The ratio of carbon and N, P, K, Ca, Mg in tree layer of Cinnamomum burmanni plantation were 182.05、872.83、182.36、116.35 and 1577.38, respectively. The ratio of carbon and Nitrogen in soil layer ranged from 12.12~ 10.71. In the tree layer, N and P, K, Mg elements content were significant positive correlation, P and K, Mg content were significant positive correlation, the same as K and Mg. C and N content in soil layer were significantly related, both of them were excellent coupled.(7) The FTIR spectra characteristic of various kinds organs in tree layer, witch in those 520,781,1240,1730cm-1 band, were different. The same as FTIR spectra characteristic in 470,669,1730 cm-1 band, in the undergrowth. FTIR absorption peak of tree layer, shrub layer and herb layer were alike. FTIR absorption peak form by chemical bonds stretching vibration in 5 layers of the soil were just the same, but belong to different classes compared with vegetation layer.
