In Anhui province is populous province, but with the development of the industry and city, the cultivated land fertility declining, in order to realize the sustainable development of population, resources and environment, we must strengthen the study of farmland productivity. Anhui province began the second soil census, in1978, due to the technology is not developed, agricultural extension strength weak, in the census process adopted by the method is relatively backward, making the results not widely promotion and application.30years industry and the development of the city make the cultivated land fertility, great changes have taken place in the second soil census results, which doesn’t satisfy the need of modern agricultural development. It is necessary to adopt new methods of farmland productivity for new survey and evaluation.To chase district of huainan city in anhui province as the study area, this paper based on a chase area soil testing and fertilizer subsidy project discusses the GIS technology in the datong district of huainan city application in the evaluation of farmland productivity. Using GIS indoor location combined with GPS field collection to collect soil samples, and the main nutrient assay analysis, through GIS mapping software to produce chase area the distribution of main nutrients, get chase area the space distribution of soil nutrients, mainly through the analysis on the spatial distribution of soil nutrients, found out the chase area distribution of farmland productivity.From the study area soil nutrient variation coefficients between0.11, are the medium variation, variation of size:effective zinc effective phosphorus> effective state manganese iron> effective water soluble boron> Cu> organic matter> effective sulfur effectively rapidly-available potassium> total nitrogen.Using GIS technical analysis to get chase area distribution of farmland productivity level.Among them, the first class land area of1654.46hectares,16.2%of the total arable land in the. Mainly distributed in hole shop township, nine Long Gangzhen, luohe township, town, etc. Second-class land area of4248.32hectares,41.7%of the total arable land in the. Mainly distributed in hole shop township, township of nine Long Gangzhen, huainan farms. Other towns are scattered. Third area of2913.03hectares, accounting for28.6%of arable land. Is extensive, the type of soil distribution in various villages and towns were distributed, among them kiln town area is larger. Four grades of cultivated land area of924.07hectares, accounting for9.1%of arable land. Places such as the area is less, in the villages and are scattered. Five places such as cultivated land area of460.12hectares,4.5%of the total arable land.
