Chrysanthemum(Chrysanthemum morifolium) is one of our country ten traditional famous flowers and the world’s four cut flowers. Currently has huge variety resources. DUS testing guideline is a test standards established by UPOV for new chrysanthemum varieties. The DUS is an indispensable programs for variety protection.In view of this, the most potted chrysanthemums florescence is early autumn or autumn, even the new varieties have excellent characters. Because the consciousness of variety protection is not strong, its mass popularization and application is restricted. In this study two not sensitive light cycle varieties and three control varieties were investigated by DUS test, heat resistance and adaptability evaluation in order to provide the oretical basis for promoting chrysanthemum.1 There are 19 distinct traits of the new variety ’xuancai compared’ with the control variety ’xiaoju No.1’ in DUS tests. The DUS tests show that: ’xuancai’ can bloom twice within one year from April to June and October to November. The petal color changes with flowering.Flower diameter 5cm, Plant height 16—20cm, the uniformity, and stability performance of the new variety ’xuancai’ are good.2 Sixteen (16) distinctness traits of the new variety ’Zichang Fenni’ were compared with the control variety ’xiaoju No.1’ in DUS tests. The DUS tests show that: ’Zichang Fenni’ can bloom twice within one year from April to June and October to November. The Flower diameter 4—6cm, amaranth petals,the uniformity、stability performance of new variety ’Zichang Fenni’ are good.3 Five Physiologieal and biochemical indexes were analysed by using the principal component analysis and subordinative function.
