With the widely application of the advanced technology in military industry, servo and automatic ramming system is becoming more and more complex. Artificial detection already cannot satisfy the demand of the times. Currently on the market testing equipment based on Windows is expensive and difficult to through the vibration test. The testing equipment based on expert system is essentially speculation on experience. On the basis of the traditional fault detection equipment, development of fault detection equipment based on Linux have practical significance and good market prospects.In this paper, we design a fault detection equipment for servo and automatic ramming system. On the hardware side, signals were extended from the fault point of servo and automatic ramming system, signal conditioning boards were designed for signal isolation and special signal processing, after processing signals were imported in the ARM core board; software uses a modular design principle, Software based on the principle of modular design to analyze the data according to the working process of servo and automatic ramming system, realized with the fault location of fiduciary instrument detection module, azimuth and elevation machine module, automatic ramming module.Currently, the overall design of the detection equipment has been completed, the test results show that the system has good man-machine interface and complete data analysis ability, can quickly and accurately detect the point of failure of servo and automatic ramming system, accomplish fault detection of system to meet the design requirements.
