The automatic ramming organ system is the key part of large caliber artillery and the analysis of the motion characteristics of the automatic ramming organ system motion makes outstanding contribution to improving reliability of the system and reducing the failure rate. The storage test method on bullet for testing gun automatic load process was developed to test the motion characteristics of the system.The working process of the automatic ramming organ system was analyzed. The dynamic range, the amplitude of the signal and the impact factors were obtained according to the ADAMS dynamics simulation results of the push bombs and coordinator. The requirement of the measurement instrument was further determined.The test principle was introduced according to the push bombs and coordinator working process and the attitude algorithm of coordinating arm was introduced, so as the error compensation method of MEMS sensor. The sensor was selected according to the feature of the measured parameter, besides, the corresponding mathematical output model and error model were established.The hardware modules are designed including signal conditioning circuits, power modules, data acquisition and communications modules, as well as the software module and computer display software. The voltage follower and two order active low-pass filter circuit was applied to achieve the isolation and impedance matching between output of the sensor and AD converter matching. The power module is designed including constant current source circuit and power conversion circuit. The STM32F103RC is taken as main control chip to achieve A/D, driving sensor ADIS16365, actuating ferroelectric memory FM25V20and serial communications and to achieve the data acquisition and storage, and communicate with the host computer. The AD converted, MEMS sensor driven which has digital output, storage and serial communication module were designed based on C language. The PC software is designed based on LabVIEW to communicate with the test system and complete the functions of sample readings, data read-back, data processing, data analysis. For the test environment, the mechanical shell of the test system was designed.Experiments which is used to evaluate the properties of different function module of a memorizer test device for Automatic Ramming System have been conducted. By the method of applying standard excitation signal through the device, and the amplitude and phase of the original signal were compared to that of the adjusted signal and were both analyzed, the signal conditioning circuit was verified with high accuracy. Single-axis angular rate turntable was used to carry the experiment of testing the static rate and calibrate the rate test module. Moreover, a precision turntable was applied to provide exact rotation angle and complete the experiment to verify the solving method of angle size. By analyzing the result of method for error compensation chosen and the result of attitude algorithm solved, the feasibility of using the device to measure the attitude and attitude rate of coordinator was demonstrated. The sensor output signal from the data acquisition and storage test equipment applied certain acceleration manually is compared to verify the feasibility of acceleration measurement. The results showed that acceleration measurement system meets the test requirements.The experiment of the automatic ramming organ system was completed. In the experiment, the combined test of the push bombs and coordinator was completed, The experimental data and the simulation results of ADAMS were analyzed. The results showed that there was a lot of vibration during the working process of the push loader, which didn’t happen in the simulation. The movement of the coordinator arm was relatively stable, and it’s only3.4°different from the actual value. But the flip process of the elastic plate was not smooth.
