The research background of this paper is the monitoring system of birds, based on the microphone array. This system solves the problems of the existing bird’s monitoring,such as work backward, larg cost of manpower, low efficiency of data-processing and so on, which is based on the wireless sensor network. Wireless sensor network use microphone arrays as the smart sensor node collecting data to the cluster head, and send a large number of effective monitoring data over the network to the terminal control center to handle, so we do not have to long-term field work any more and can save staff consumption. This paper presents a data access network technology— Broadband Remote Access technology, which will be very important significance to monitoring sensor network system of birdsong.This paper presents the Broadband Remote Access Server (BRAS) applies to monitoring sensor network of birdsong.BRAS in the sensor network system acting as a gateway. The methods of BRAS access are PPPoE, IPoE, Portal,802.1x, etc. In this paper, we chooses IPoE access mode. Compared with other access methods, IPoE technology can be very good with DHCP technology and AAA server, which have the advantages of flexible application, safe and reliable, high efficiency, rich scalability, etc. DHCP technology realizes the function of achieving address automatically, and AAA server realizes the function of authentication, authorization, accounting. With the accounting function of AAA server, the system can charge each cluster head separately.IPoE access authentication needs through the authority of AAA server firstly, once the session state of IPoE is authpass, then user will apply address to the DHCP server to complete IPoE access authentication. DHCP module studies the design and implementation of Session entries and geting the IP address; AAA module studies the design and implementation of authentication, authorization and accounting; the paper also adopts an accounting policy, named ITA, which is to achieve the purpose of separating data stream, then users can separate traffic statistics according to different sources address, and monitor data traffic of different cluster head.
