Research On Socialized Information Service Of University Library

According to the statistics show, the Literature Information Resources of the University Library contains about 60% of the total amount of the information society,socialization University Library undertakes the important mission and responsibility in our society in the process of learning, not only can effectively make public inadequate library, but also promote social mobility and cultural knowledge, enhance national cultural qualities. Based on the analysis of the connotation of socialization of university library information service purpose, value, necessity, feasibility, advantages and disadvantages analysis, this paper studies the present situation of socialization of information service of University Library in China, by taking Harvard University and Shenyang Normal University as an example, comparing from three angles of the service scope, service content and the readers.This paper also discusses the system problems and causes of the socialization of information service of University Library in China and points out that we should explore the development of the socialized information service of university library, university library should formulate and improve relevant policies to enhance the credibility of university library, foreign cooperation and social service for readers such as special teams four levels to solve.
