Research On The Hidden Dangers Of Personal Privacy In Social Media

With the increasing popularity of social media, it is no longer merely a pure communicative tool, but a new lifestyle. However, the fact that more privacy breaches shows that it is urgent to deal with the problem of privacy protection.This paper will focus on the spread risk of personal privacy in social media, and try to analyze the ways and reasons of social media in personal privacy spread through literature analysis and questionnaire survey method, then try to find the according solutions solution. The study showed at present, there are huge hidden dangers in social media, which are mainly presented in the four aspects, improper personal privacy protection, the second collection and use of personal privacy, and hacker attack. To strengthen the prevention of personal privacy risks in the spread of social media, users should reinforce the privacy education and improve the awareness of privacy protection. Service providers need to strengthen industry self-regulation, improve the platform information protection. At the same time, the government should implement the rule of law and strengthen government supervision.
