Study On Safety Evaluation Of Building Construction Based On Accident Causation Theory

With the rapid development of China’s economy in recent years, the construction industry shows a continued trend of rapid growth and has become a pillar industry of the national economy. While the development of construction industry has an enormous scale, the feature of the building construction makes frequent accidents. For the grim safety situation of the construction industry, the government formulates a series of laws, rules and regulations, and takes the appropriate management measures. But the implementation of these policies and measures has not solved the problem of construction safety and changed the passive situation of construction safety, which needs us to change the situation with a new perspective.Firstly, the study takes a comparative analysis on the research status of accident theory, safety management of building construction, and safety evaluation of building construction, learns from foreign experience, has a thorough understanding of accident theory, combines with the feature of building construction and construction accident, and analyzes on the formation of construction accident based on accident theory. The analysis on accident formation includes the causation and occurrence of the accident. The study analyzes on the formation of construction accident from the impact of the “4M” factor of construction safety and the responsibility of building construction actors. Furthermore it analyzes on the occurrence of construction accident based on the human factor, the object factor, the management factor, and the environmental factor.Then, the study sets up the index system of construction safety evaluation. Furthermore it analyzes on the limitations of the traditional fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, improves it in the determination of the index weights and the selection of the fuzzy operation and the evaluation principle, builds the improved fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model, and analyzes its nature.Finally, the study takes an empirical research on the construction safety evaluation model based on the background. It gets the scoring table of construction safety evaluation indexes and the univariate membership through checking out the information, consulting experts and people in charge of the projects. Furthermore it identifies the safety rating of the four projects under construction through the improved fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, providing a scientific basis for construction safety management.
