Since the concept of high performance concrete was put forward, people have paid more attention to the development of high performance concrete. However, the high performance concrete, the new technology, is still in the course of constant development and improvement, so it need be improved in the application of engineering. In order to provide technical support to further popularization and application of the high performance concrete, the scholars in this field have conducted comprehensive study on the product all over the world. In recent years, the application of high performance concrete have been widely developed in the field of engineering structure and the product has been in great demand, however, people also gradually realized a subject that need be researched urgently, that is, how to play the good economic benefit of the product,improve its comprehensive performance, ensure the quality of construction projects and meet the needs of the engineering construction.First of all, by analyzing the effect that various ingredients of high performance concrete produced on the comprehensive performance of it, which contain cement,aggregate, admixtures degree, the mineral admixtures, by studying and analyzing the extent of impact on its performance produced by applying and choosing all kinds of its ingredients in the experiment, by proposing its basic technical requirement on application and selection of its various ingredients by comparison and analysis. Due to its characteristics of low water/cement ratio and high performance, the high performance concrete should choose component materials of high and stable quality, meanwhile,besides its main components such as cement, aggregate, and water, it must be mixed with admixture and mineral admixtures whose variety and amount produce great impact on the performance of high performance concrete. The amount of admixture and mineral admixtures should not be too great and the reasonable amount ratio must be controlled,moreover, by adding double mixed mineral admixtures the performance of high performance concrete can significantly improve.In addition to the choice of suitable components of high quality, the mixing proportion of all kinds of components, the design of mixture ratio of concrete is also vital to achieve high-performance of the concrete. Then we go on researching mixing proportion design of high performance concrete, analyzes the basic principle which the mix proportion design of it should meet and select water-binder ratio, sand ratio, fly ash and silica fume as the four main elements which influence the performance of it. We design the mixing proportion of concrete by orthogonal experiment design. On the basis of the results of the orthogonal experiment, we analyze and study the sequence of all kinds of influencing element, we put forward the optimal design mixture ratio.Maintenance is an important link in the process in which high performance concrete is formed. Maintenance will determine the stability of its strength development. Because the maintenance of the high performance concrete is affected by engineering environment and structural parts, a single maintenance method can’t meet the demand of practical engineering. Therefore, in this paper, we compare and analyze the different effects which are produced by different maintenance methods on the strength and durability of high performance concrete, moreover, we propose the method of stage maintenance, in which the concrete is maintained by covering in early period and it is maintained by immersing in the water in late period. Moreover, the maintenance method of high-performance concrete will lead to the direction of composite maintenance method, which adopts several maintenances to ensure its strength and durability effectively.Finally, this paper unites the available quality control system of ordinary concrete engineering with the quality forming process of high performance concrete, proposed the quality control system high performance concrete which contains the prior control,in-process control and feedback. We conduct a comprehensive quality control in each link, from raw material selection and the design of mixing proportion, to the production,construction and maintenance of concrete. We follow the principle of dynamic control in every stage and link, rectify the mistakes immediately and ensure the quality of high performance concrete meet the demand of the engineering construction.
