Electric tracked vehicle is a mobile carrier which is represented of laser weapons andelectromagnetic technology. The coupled analysis of the electrical drive system and otherelectrical power system is quite necessary. To solve this problem, this paper completed asimulation study of drive system and electrical system of a series hybrid tracked vehicle.Firstly, energy demands of all the components are analyzed. During operation of thevehicle maneuverability, power supply requirements of the electric weapon, mute drivingand other aspects of energy demand is analyzed. The results of the analysis of powerdemand for the various work is given. In this paper, due to the bilateral series hybridelectric drive structure and the results of energy demand analysis, completed parametersmatching of the components, including drive systems, engine generators, batteries andpower weapons.Due to the performance of battery model has a very important impact on the vehiclemodel this paper compared several models of battery, and selected the Thevenin modelstructure model of as the battery model used in this article for the study object of thisarticle. The author established a dynamic system integrated simulation model for vehiclecontrol and finished the modeling of the power distribution strategy. Using MATLAB/SIMULINK, the input of the model was the driver’s intention, the output were the stateparameters of the vehicle, the outputs showed the operational condition of the engine-generator set, power battery, driving motor, vehicle dynamics and grid characteristics ofhigh voltage power.Eatablished the control interface of the model in LabVIEW, and it enables onlinemeasurement of the model parameters and online modifying of some parameters.A variety of simulation results were analyzed to assess the performance of themaneuver and combat effectiveness, and the stability of the grid at different operatingconditions were analyzed, and verified the effectiveness of the power distribution strategy.
