Folding camping tent is made of complex shape and light materials.The wind load often plays a dominant role, and the folding camping tents are in the group, it may lead to surface wind load in group,which is greater than surface wind load a single tent.But the current specification does not give the relevant provisions of wind-induced interference effects on buildings.It is difficult to meet the requirements of group tent to design engineering structure. Therefore study of wind-induced interference of the folding camping tent group is necessary.However, according to the traditional method, the study of wind-induced interference is determined by wind tunnel test. But cost of the wind tunnel test is huge, it is difficult to simulate the wind profile, and the scale model makes it difficult to achieve similar Reynolds number. Numerical simulation is a new method with coefficient low cost and high efficiency,which has been applied widely and deeply research. Thus, this paper uses the Fluent software to simulate the wind-induced interference effect for folding tent group, the typical wind-induced interference effects of numerical simulation and wind tunnel test was performed to verify.On the basis of the atmospheric boundary layer theory and the basic principles of fluid dynamics, computing platform based on Fluent, the distance and the wind angle, arrangement(including horizontal and vertical spacing) of tents is variable parameters. Considering actual installation situation and distance between tents for rescue traffic distance requirements, which determines the lateral spacing between tents and longitudinal spacing. Then75kinds of working conditions of the single and6row6row and6row double Tents has been simulated.The result includes amplification effect (Canyon effect) and shielding effect.Based on this, we give quantitative description of interference effect by interference factor of the disturbance degree of surface wind load of single tent. Finally, we use amplification factor as maximum interference factor, based on a single tent shape coefficient, that is suitable for folding tent group engineering structure design shape coefficient.
