Aero-engine rig test is a critical phase of engine development. Combined with engineering projects,research on the data acquisition system design of aero-engine test-bed, which based on advanced PXIbus technology, was carried out. And several key technologies of the test system were researched,such as fuel flow measurement, vibration measurement, dynamometer load control and compressorinstability early warning.The test requirements of aero-engine test-bed were analyzed and comprehensive requirements ofdata acquisition system were obtained. Established on advanced virtual instrument technology andPXI bus technology, hardware and software overall design schemes of data acquisition system werecompleted. With combination of advanced computer aided testing technology, a reliable hardwaresystem was constructed based on PXI platform. From software engineering perspective, thereasonable modular software structure was put forward and an integrated test management programwas developed.Several key technologies of aero-engine test-bed were investigated. Firstly, to overcome the turbineflowmeter blade frequency pulsating issue which caused by blade manufacturing tolerance, cycleperiod filtering method was introduced and the measurement stability, accuracy and real-timeperformance were improved. Secondly, to satisfy the vibration monitoring demand during testing, thevibration signal monitoring and analysis software was designed for real-time monitoring andpreliminary diagnosis of abnormal vibration problems or malfunctions. Thirdly, aimed at over-runningand overtorque issues in dynamometer control, dynamometer load control logic was proposed, and theperformance requirements of test procedures were achieved. And lastly, a compressor rotating stallinception detection system was developed based on FPGA, which could capture stall inceptionprecursor online and generate warning signal as early as possible to avoid rotating stall by propermeasures.
