The Study Of News Narrative In Legal Report

Legal journalism is "a branch of journalism, which is special subject to study the characteristics and rules of legal news and legal news reporting ".since the1980s, along with our country’s legal system construction, legal journalism has been developed at top speed with high attention in the academic circles. In the21st century, the legal system of journalism has got rapid development. On the one hand, the country needs through the media to spread the concept of legal system in the process of building a legal society; on the other hand, the legal literacy of the citizen requires the media provide more legal information. In this context, the legal news reports usher in the golden period of development. This paper takes "legal report" as the research object in2013, in order to study of its narrative style and narrative strategy. As a famous legal television program,"legal report" has become the benchmarking of legal TV program.This paper is divided into five chapters:Chapter1introduces the background and the significance of the topic. And it defines the object of study, determines the research methods and research frame.Chapter2analyses of the linguistic notations and nonverbal sign of "legal report" based on the related theories of narrative symbols.Chapter3analyses of narrative order and narrative time span of "legal report" based on the related theories of narrative symbols.Chapter4points out the question of "legal report", and analyzes the reasons for its formation after outlining the general framework of the "legal report".Chapter5summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the "legal report" at overall.
