Intelligent vehicle was equipped by many sensors it carried to perceive theinformation around and their own state. They can drive autonomously in real andcomplex environment, and they can complete certain functions. It applied varioushigh-tech technology, such as automatic control, information fusion of multi-sensordata, navigation technology, wireless communication technology and artificialintelligence. Intelligent vehicle was a combination of sophisticated technology.This paper presented the design of the control system of smart car based on K60.The control system chose K60microprocessor as the core controller to design thesmart car, using its powerful data processing capability and rich peripheral integrationof resources. Camera OV6620was chose to capture the road images, motor andsteering engine was used to control the speed and direction of the smart car, and theoptical encoder sensor was used to detect the speed of the car, so as to complete theclosed loop control of the speed of the smart car with PID algorithm.Firstly, this paper introduced the significance and the present research situationof intelligent vehicle, then selected key modules of the smart car and analyzed itsprinciples simply. On this basis, a detailed design of the hardware circuit wasintroduced. In the design of the software, the road image acquisition and processingmethod, black line extraction algorithm, the treatment of special path and the controlalgorithms of motor and servo were discussed; then the related debugging softwareand debugging methods were introduced. Finally, the paper summarized the work andproposed the improvements.
