Research On The Effect Of Information Technology Synergies On Performance For Multibusiness Firms Based On Neural Network

Since the beginning of this century, the popularization of informatization has become a global trend, and is producing a revolutionary impact on the productions, life and management of the whole society.As a world power, China must go with the times,only in this way can we win in the wave of development of world economy.The Pearl River Delta region is the critical region of Chinese economy,and is playing a critical role in the development and reform of the Chinese economy. At the same time,diversification has been a important trend accompanied with the development of the business. So under the double backgrounds of the informatization and diversification,on the one hand multibusiness firms of the Pearl River Delta must forge ahead and enhance their own strengths,and on the other they also shoulder the heavy reformational responsibility of the integration of informatization and industrialization. Only in this way can they gain the competitive advantage in the fierce market competition.In the procedure of the integration of informatization and industrialization, multibusiness firms must try their best to improve their information technology synergies to realize synergistic effect,only in this way can they improve the performance level of the whole firms.So the research questions of this paper conclude three main parts:(1)this paper confirms the concepts and dimensions for the information technology synergies and the firm performance;(2)this paper analyses the relationship between the information technology synergies and the firm performance;(3)this paper operates the neural network tool to predict the firm performance through the information technology synergies,and proposing the strategies about the information technology synergies for the multibusiness firms.By the research methods of literature reading, experts interview, questionnaires, data analysis and case analysis,this paper studies on the relationship between information technology synergies and performance in multibusiness firms.Finally, this paper draws some conclusions as follows:(1)this paper devides the information technology synergies into two parts:information technology internal synergies and information technology external synergies; information technology internal synergies create the common and complementary effect of the synergistic effect, and information technology external synergies creat the Synchronous effect of the synergistic effect;(2)the information technology synergies are positive correlated with the firm performance;(3)the research methods of neural network have a certain amount of sense of consultation and reference to the strategies about the information technology synergies for the multibusiness firms.The innovations of this paper conclude three main parts:(1)this paper allocates the detailed options to every item of the questionnaire so as to reduce the subjectivity of the interviewees;(2)this paper puts forward the author’s views about the information technology synergies effect, this attributes the innovations of the theory;(3)the neural network software attrbutes the innovations of the research tools in this field.Finally, this paper concludes the limitation of the research and looks forward the research directions of the future.
