On The Impact Of Technology On The Internet Information Consumption

Information age, the Internet technology and Internet information industry vigorous development,the Internet is gradually into people’s lives. With the increasing of the number of Internet users and thelong on the internet, people depend more and more on the internet. Using the internet to get informationproducts and services, produce and communicate the information, communicate by the SocialNetworking has became an important way to the daily life of people, but also become an important linkin the social new consumption hot spots and the development of cultural industry.In this paper, from the communication, social psychology and other disciplines perspective, use atheory based on the media ecology to explore the technology’s influence on the internet informationconsumption, starting from the view of the unity of opposites to reflect the negative influence oftechnology in the internet information consumption,and proposed some of the basic strategy.The first chapter mainly summarized the origin and development of internet informationconsumption,pointed out that the Internet is the main condition of Internet information consumption’emergence.The second chapter mainly analyzed the technology’ promotion for the development of Internetinformation consumption. Technology created the Internet information consumption environment,promoted the development of the Internet information consumption patterns, promoted Internetinformation consumption behavior changing.At last, summarized the basic rules of the development ofInternet information consumption.The third chapter mainly analysed the negative effects of technology in Internet informationconsumption. Technology is a double-edged sword, bringing great convenience to people’s life,at thesame time, caused a series of social problems such as media anomie, technology dependence, peoplebecome to the slave of technology. And, technology has produced negative influence, its essence is thelost of the original function of technology.The fourth chapter mainly put forward some basic strategies to solve the negative influence abouttechnology. We should strengthen our cognition about technology and ourself; reduce the mediadependency, encourage social interaction;at last,seek the balance between value rationality and instrumentrationality,to achieve comprehensive development of human,creating fully socialized and perfect man.
