Development And Practice Of Community Information Management System

Cause of our large population base and rapid speed of population flow as well as the acceleration of urbanization, more and more people nowadays move into the city.as a result, various communities came out through the whole country. As the core unit of the city, the community plays an important part between the government and the residents. It was also regarded as a large storage of social information resources, including accumulated information from the community labor, civil, family planning, population, security, planning, municipal, missionize, economic, comprehensive management, health and other aspects of basic data. Currently, the relevant government departments such as public security, civil affairs, health, sanitation, and other Party has gone deep into the community, these departments have developed their own independent information management systems, but Among these systems, departments lack of correlation of data, sources of data duplication, inconsistency, forming islands of information with each other, wasting money and personnel,while reducing work efficiency of government, community management problem is imminent.Based on the needs of the management of community information services,this paper analyzes the development feasibility of community management system from the perspective of system development, in the three dimensions of economic, technological, and policy and study the functional modules, such as:household data management, personnel management, public facilities management, property management, forum management. On this basis, according to the business community information input process, data flow, the system’s various use cases, we design and development the functional modules of the system, using C/S structure, Microsoft SQL Server2000as the back-end database as well as J2EE technology. This system operates simply, to a certain extent, avoid various community-based management errors, and improve community management efficiency, making the logistics management can be more easy to understand community residents and logistics personnel situation, but for the deficiencies of the design still needs to be improved.
