| Gas station in the field of metallurgy plays an important role. However, the gasproduction is a complicated process. Manual control in gas production which makes gasquality unstable, can not meet the production needs. Therefore research and achieve agas station control system is great significance.The paper has researched the process and equipment of Gas Station, and discussedhow to control the production process of the Gas Station, with computers in the PCS7platform, which has constituted as the background of an alumina plant’s gas stationcontrol system construction.PCS7has been applied in more and more industrial control areas as a kind ofprocedure-oriented software development platform. It has advanced a sort ofcompletely-integrated automatic solution and can provide all kinds of automationapplications with a uniform technical circumstance. Engineers or technicians canconfigurate and programme in the same platform for all kinds of applications and thecharacteristics of computerized controls can be demonstrated fully.The contents researched in this thesis are as followings. Firstly, introduce thefollow system’s process: Main Plant Building system, gas furnace production principle,Coal Feeding system, Electrostatic Precipitor system, Gas Pressure Machine system,Circulating Water system, etc. Secondly, briefly introduce the part of PCS7processcontrol system applied in this Gas Station project, and describe the hardwareconfiguration and network architecture of the Gas Station system. Thirdly, the GasStation common device control, the chain protection control and sequence control areresearched and configured with CFC. Finally, the operation and monitoring system,which include Graphical User Interface, Archive System and User Management System, is designed and configured.The practical operation results have shown that the system was designedreasonably and could meet the control requirement adequately. |
