Research Of The Application Based On RFID Technology And Mobile Android Device

RFID (radio frequency identification technology) is a non-contact automaticidentification technology, using radio communication. Now the label of RFID isreadable and writable, with larger information capacity, can be reused, and is moreprivate; RFID technology can also possess higher recognition efficiency and reducehuman involvement to reduce administrative expenses, which can effectively reducethe cost of automatic identification. RFID technology has broad applicationprospects, and to help promote automation and intellectualized of industrial, and isused in many fields, and to be applied to more areas.The application of RFID technology is more in production management andindustrial management. Its range of applications is limited. The related applicationsstandard of RFID is few, especially in people’s daily life. RFID is mainly used foraccess control systems, and mobile e-commerce in people’s daily life. Mobile smartdevices are very popular in people’s lives. The combination of RFID technology andmobile communications technology can solve the transmission distance and cablereader limit of RFID; realize more long-distance transmission of tag data. Therefore,RFID technology combined with mobile communications can improve theapplication level and broaden its applications areas.Phone as a portable communications tool, from the time of invention of phoneto the present, mobile smart phone has many powerful functions and integrated intopeople’s daily lives. As of March2012, China’s mobile phone users exceeded10million. Penetration of smart phone users accounted for about33%, and this numberis keeping upward trend, which is38%of the Android smart phone. The AndroidSystem is a Linux-based open source mobile operating system, adopted by manymobile device manufacturers because of its open and easier programming. Thispaper does the research of RFID technology and mobile communication technologyand introduces two mobile applications based on RFID and mobile Android device.1. A product multimedia information publishing, dissemination andquery-based systems based on Android and RFID The system is a commodity information query system based on intelligentlogistics system, the commodity information released by the manufacturers for theconsumers or middlemen query, to ensure that product information is true andreliable. Query object contains the products identified by both bar code and EPCcode; multimedia information of products, including video of the productinformation, product images information, location information and text information,and allows users to more fully understand the products and track products in certainthe extent to prevent the circulation of counterfeit products.2. An items inventory system based on Android terminal and RFIDThe function of this application is to help people to record information of items,and can automatically identify the inventory items to display the inventory results. Itis a smart home application realizing warehouse management of family, and is easilyoperating and suitable for more people, warehouse management family.
