Along with the rapid growth in the number of Internet users in China and theexpansion of the China’s internet coverage in recent years, many interpersonalcommunication modes in the internet, represented by QQ, have entered people’s lives.Network communication not only created a new mode of interpersonal communication, butalso brought significant impact on interpersonal communication in real life and theindividual who communicats.Already QQ, for example, the paper uses acombination way of questionnaire surveyand case interviews, and undertakes description and analysis of the influence by choosinginterviewees from QQ users in Lanzhou.From the survey, network communication’s influences on interpersonalcommunication in reality are mainly shown in the following four aspects:First,network communication has broadened the range of interpersonalcommunication,also set up a spread of individual relationship in the network, and expandthe reality of human relationships and even beyond.Second,for reality acquaintances, network communication to reality interpersonalcommunication frequency is limited, still face-to-face communication.Networkrelationships and real relationships are in the same position and role; But for people whoare not familiar with each other, network communication become the main way ofinterpersonal communication, greatly increasing the frequency of interpersonalcommunication, relationship in the network maintain and strengthen the real relationship.Third,network communication tools which has a simple and convenient user interfaceand form of communication has become the main way of interpersonalcommunication.Network communication as the QQ representative maintain and enhancethe effect of the real relationship.Fourth,the mode of network transmission makes individuals more confidence anddependent in network interpersonal communication.With the development of the Internetand new technologies,people’s dependence for network communication tools as the QQrepresentative become more and more strong, but,people’s attitude towards the network communication tend to remain rational.Finally,the investigation shows that while the survey reflects the mild dependent onthe network communication, network communication does not replace the realinterpersonal communication. With the virtual, relaxed and free network environment,interpersonal communication had an impact on concept of individual exchanges,individual exchanges specification, individual communication psychology and individual’scognitive ability.
