With the advent of the cloud era, information on the World Wide Web is expand-ing more rapidly than ever and is transforming from static information into informationservices provided directly to individuals. Traditional specialized knowledge acquisitionmethods begins to expose more defects. Although encapsulating such methods into ser-vices could partially meet the current needs of acquiring knowledge from the Web, it isstill hard when faced with constant changes from users’ requirements, service providers, and service types. One possible solution is to build more complex and capable servicesthrough the composition of existing ones, which is a critical challenge in Semantic WebService. This paper builds a mapping between domain ontology and services starting fromontology-relation, and based on that, an enterprise-cloud-based visualized service com-position model is presented. In detail, our research includes:1. defining ontology-relation operations and building the mapping between the do-main ontology and certain services, thus the theoratic foundation for optimization of ser-vice composition is laid;2. designing several visual elements to express service entities and properties toease the difficulty level of service modeling and explaining the design with an examplein application scenarios;3. improving the function measuring the semantic similarity between ontology enti-ties to illustrate the similarity more soundly;4. presenting an enterprise-cloud-based visualized service composition model onthe basis of which a platform is built. Experimental results expresses the feasibility ofthe model and the stability of the platform, which proves that our approach helps improvethe flexibility of service modeling and reduce the cost and complexity of building service-oriented applications.
