In recent years, the rapid development of new media technology represented by thenetwork technology has brought the new reform of the media and promoted human into a newinformation age. The new type of media represented by the Internet has penetrated into allaspects of human work and life, changing people’s life style and thinking mode. Virtual andopenness of network technology make the Internet become an important platform andcollection of ideas. On the one hand, the new media has enriched people’s informationresources, expanded the people’s horizons. On the other hand, a large number of good and badinformation make the impact on people’s moral ideas. The traditional moral order isimbalance, and Internet moral has not fully finished yet. All kinds of network moral anomiephenomenon have aroused high attention of society. The importance of the construction ofnetwork morality is growing. The moral level of college student is relationship with thedevelopment of the whole social morality. College students are affected by the badinformation of network under the new media. The college students’ network viscosityincreases gradually, all kinds of network application rate are high. Network affects collegestudents’ psychology, idea, etc. Due to the restriction of the age and psychologicaldevelopment level, the moral self-control ability can not stop to resist the interference of badinformation, so some network immoral behaviors appear, such as abusing networkinformation, the violence of network language, violation of privacy, plagiarism and so on.Therefore, it is imperative to set up the correct network moral cognition and develop goodnetwork behavior. Researching on college students’ network morality education help toenhance the level of college students’ network moral and enhance network self-discipline,enrich the network moral education theory and method, promote social network moralconstruction.Network morality as starting point, many methods which are the literature research,comparative analysis methods, investigation method and multi-disciplinary comprehensivestudy method and other methods are used. The network morality education concept definition,problem analysis, theoretical research and countermeasures research are discussed. First of all,the concept and characteristics of new media are generalized; the new characteristics of thecollege students are analyzed under the new media environment. According to the theory ofmoral cultivation education at home and abroad, the connotation, essence and characteristicsof the college students’ network moral cultivation education are put forward. Secondly,according to questionnaire investigation, interview and analysis of literature information, theanomie phenomenon of college students’ network moral in the new media environment andthe problems of college students’ network morality education are teased, the reasons from theschool, family and society and so on are comprehensively analyzed. Again, throughcomparing the theories of moral cultivation education at home and abroad for reference, andcontent, aiming at the shortages of the network morality education, following the general rules of moral development, the four levels of target for our country college students’ networkmorality education, which are knowledge, feeling, meaning and actives are designed. Thebasic principles and main contents of the network morality education are cleared. Finally,using the knowledge of communication, psychology, ethics and other related disciplines,starting from improving the actual efficiency of network morality education, thecountermeasures on the basis of network morality education theory are studied. Fourcountermeasures are proposed, which are promoting personal moral cultivation of networkmoral culture, building the home network education mode, perfecting the construction ofcollege network morality education system and promoting the construction of networkmorality education environment.
