The strength of the credibility has always been concerned by people. It reflects the integrity of the nation, society and individual. It is particularly critical for the education which imparts knowledge and educates people. Teachers’credibility is an important part of the integrity in the entire middle school. The development of integrity in middle school is based on the public’s trust on the teachers. The public’s trust on the teachers in the middle school will affect the results of education. Therefore, how to reasonably deal with the relationship between teachers and students is the main factor for teachers to obtain the public trust. However, from the current situation we can see that middle school teachers’credibility crisis is widespread, not a characteristic of one province and city. Although this crisis appears in different schools, it exists for the same reasons. Therefore, this thesis attempts to do a research on the concept and crisis of middle school teachers’credibilily based on the students’develpoment in order to address the following points:to analyze which factors influence teachers’credibility; which phenomenons show that teachers’credibility is weakening; in what way teachers can enhance their credibility.Firstly, this thesis gives an introduction to the concept and teaching meaning of middle school teachers’credibility. Middle school teacher’s credibility is the comprehensive evaluation on teachers’teaching achievement. It indirectly reflects teachers’ability to deal with the complicated educating problems. It also reflects whether teachers can can adapt to the middle school education or not. The teaching meaning of middle school teachers’credibility mainly reflects in the following perspectives:educational concept of student-centered teaching, educational behavior of doing research on teaching and learning, and teaching method of concerning on students’comprehensive development.Secondly, the author of this thesis analyzes which factors influence middle school teachers’credibility and which phenomenons show that teachers’credibility is weakening. The factors that influence teachers’credibility include social factor, teacher’s quality and educational object. Under the perspective of the public, the following forms show that teachers’cedibility is weakening:the contradiction between economic development and teachers’money concept; the contradiction between the guidance of public opinion and lag of educational outcomes; the contradiction between ethics anomie and student’s revolt conflict; the contradiction between social expectations and the college entrance examination pressure; the contradiction between evaluation mechanism and the individual expect. There are many reasons and contradictions resulting the weakness of techers’credibility.Last, based on the above contradictions, the author of this thesis presents some pedagogical implication and suggestions for middle school teachers to improve their credibility, including changing educational concept and implementing the student-centered teaching concept; improving teachers’ability and making the education more scientific; perfecting the supervision system and establishing a multivariate evaluation mechanism; improving the teachers’treatment to ease teachers’ social pressures; and perfecting legal mechanism to promote the construction of teachers’credibility.According to analyzing the problem that the teachers’credibility is weakening, the thesis comes to the following conclusion. Firstly, the public and the media supervise education but don’t exaggerate education problems. Secondly, students trust teachers but not blindly follow teachers. Thirdly, teachers lead teaching but not punish students. All the analysis of problems is based on the current situation and cases in order to provide references for the development of middle school teachers’credibility.
