Along with the wide application and rapid development of the Internet, the network has become an important channel and means of transmitting information, holding communication and acquiring knowledge for college students, and an indispensable component in their daily life. However, the network is a double-edged sword, which facilitates students’ study and life and inevitably causes some negative influences on their moral characters, and there are behaviors of network moral abnormality frequently happening, which damage network moral order seriously. Consequently, in the age of omnimedia, strengthening network moral education of college students is quite essential and urgent.This paper was set in network information age of omnimedia, and started from the present situation of network ethics and network moral education of college students. It analyzed the causes of the existing problems in network moral education of college students by integrating the current literatures with questionnaires, and offered the relevant suggestions and measures:first, establishment of network moral norms to enhance the supervision and management of network; second, reformation of traditional moral education mode to train the new-style education team of network; third, improvement of network ethics of college students to become the law-abiding netizens of integrity; fourth, improvement and perfection of network laws and regulations to play a social role of media. With the discussion and research on network moral education of college students in the era of omnimedia, enriching and developing content of network moral education by a variety of ways of the media expression, such as text, graphics images, motion pictures, sound and videos, is not only an inevitable path for students’ ideological and political education but also a mission of the times undertaken by the teaching staff in higher education.
