Change Research On The Urban Youth Women’s Apparel Since The Reform And Opening Up

The clothing is not only a phenomenon of social life, but also an important part of human culture, it is a social information carrier. After three decades of reform and opening up, the developments and changes of young women clothing culture reflected people’s connotation of politics, economy, culture, aesthetics, consumption and values, and also reflected people’s lifestyles in different periods, as well as the understanding and the pursuit of fashion.Focusing on the driving factors of the urban young women’s clothing changes from social change perspectives, this thesis analyzed the characteristics of the urban young women’s clothing changes and explored the reasons of the changes. This thesis also provided further explanations for the relationship of the clothing changes and social changes, and also provided some thoughts on the sociological significance of the urban young women’s clothing changes.The main content of this paper include:After brief narrative and description of the current research status, the significance, the research ideas and the research methods. The focus of analysis is on the changes of the urban young women’s clothing, including a description of the clothing color, fabric, style, and dress collocation. This thesis also summarized the process and characteristics of these changes.And then, Analysis the reasons of the urban young women’s clothing evolution since the reform and opening-up,starting with the influence of the social transformation, this thesis analyzed the changes of the urban young women’s clothing, including the youth culture changes’influence on clothing, aesthetic changes’influence on clothing as well as the changes of consumer attitudes on clothing.Last,the sociological significance of the urban young women’s clothing evolution:this thesis interpreted the clothing evolution in the social changes mainly from the perspectives of the women consciousness, social roles, values, symbols theory. And combined with the reality, this thesis had expectations for the future trend of urban young women’s clothing development.
