Objects:1. To understand the epidemiological characteric of hospitalized children’s unintention injury and influence factors of their degree.2. Evaluate the disease burden of children’s unintention injury, provides the basis for ensuring the rational allocation of limited health resources reducing family burden of disease.Methods:1. Extracting the whole group of children in three first-rate comprehensive hospitals and one women and children specialist hospital in Changzhi from January1,2012to December31,2012,those who for the first time in the hospital due to accidental injury with a total of628injuried children. The clinical epidemiological features were retrospectively analyzed. Using the EpiDate3.1input data, and using SPSS13.0software complete data statistics with the approache of chi-square test.2. Select the children for the first time in Heji hospital affiliated to Changzhi medical school from2012-8-lto2013-7-31for their study. Face to face. Analyze the influence factors of unintentional injury, disease economic burden and family burden. Using the EpiDate3.1input data, and using SPSS13.0software complete data statistics with the approaches of chi-square test, rank-sum test and regression analysis.Results:1. Case distribution:There are628cases in this study, men more than women with sex ratio is2.57:1. Rural cases more than city with the ratio is2.05:1, the top three causes of the accident is falling down (36.9%), traffic accident (29.3%), burns (16.6%). Burns is the first damage causes in0～1and1～4age groups; Damage parts is given priority to head; Damage occurred in August and September for the rush hour.2. The influence factors of unintentional injuried degree:Children’s unintentional injury degree is significantly positively related to damage outcome, medical expenses, children age group, father age and mother age (P<0.05). The risk of child in heavy unintentional injury whose mother in low age group is1.872times of the child whose mother in high age group.3. The economic burden of injury:from2012-8-1to2013-7-31. the top five disease burden of unintentional injury is the traffic accident439192.72Yuan, down217833.73Yuan, poison61508.93Yuan, burns36118.76Yuan; insect/animal bites15380.19Yuan. The total disease burden is835007.24Yuan, direct economic burden accounted for81.63%. indirect economic burden accounted for18.39%.In the direct economic burden, hospitalization costs accounted for80.05%.The economic burden of10-14years old accounted for51.87%of total economic burden. 4. The family burden of unintentional injury:unintentional injury children with different levels of family burden. Unintention injuries affect children’s family in multidimensional, especially in family entertainment activity family members’mental health and family economic burden. Family entertainment is54.29%, family members’mental health is52.86%, these two dimensions of positive rate is more than50%, and then family economic burden is45.7%. The influce factor of family burden of disease is total economic burden (P=0.001) and disease outcome (P=0.044).Conclusion:1. Children’s unintentional injury is given priority to falling down, traffic accidents, burns in Changzhi,2012; Men more than women, rural more than urban; With the growth of age, the proportion of unintentional injury rises.2. The heavier damage degree, the worse outcome and the higher medical expenses; The older parents’and children’s age, the heavier damage degree; Mother in low age group is risk factors of heavy unintentional injury.3. Economic burden caused by the unintentional injury is considerable; the heaviest economic burden is10～14years group. Traffic accident damage is the heaviest damage reasons, followed by falling down.4. The unintentional injury of children exist different levels of family burden. Unintentional injuries affect children’s family in multidimensional. In home entertainment, family members’ mental health and family economic burden these three dimensions burden is heavier. The main influence factor of family burden of disease is total economic burden and disease outcome.
