Cents With Fire Needle Acupuncture And Cupping Treatment Of Acne Clinical Research

Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of filiform-fire needle with needle tank in treating acne, and to evaluate the patient’s quality of life and mental health before and after the treatment.Method:16patients were treated with filiform-fire needle cooperate with the body acupuncture、bloodletting puncture and cupping therapy、electric acupuncture. Use filiform-fire needle to prick local lesions. If facial acnes were distributed closely, we can choose Quanliao、Yangbai points. Acupoint selection: Baihuo、The scalp needle stomach area、 Quchi、Waiguan、Hegu、Qimen、Zhongwan、Liangmen、Tianshu、Xuehai、Fengshi、 Zusanli、Fenglong、Sanyinj iao、Taichong points. Mild reinforcing and attenuating, retaining needle for30mins.We used filiform needle to prick the skin near Tianshu、Sanyinjiao points, and let the blood out, then leaved a tank for5mins. Use electric acupuncture to connect Quchi、Fengshi points with the specific electromagnetic spectrum irradiation of abdomen. The treatment was conducted once a week with a course of6-8weeks. At the same time, evaluate the patients’quality of life with the facial acne specific quality of life questionnaire proposed by Matin and DLQI, Self-Rating Depression Scale was taken to evaluate the patients’mental condition. GAGS was used for acne scores.Results:Enrolled20patients,4cases fall off, treatment of16cases,6cases of male,10cases of female. The data used in Excel form to establish database, using statistical software SPSS17.0statistical measurement data. Adopt t test measurement data, with mean standard deviation (s)x said P<0.05for statistically significant.(1)Acne scores:Two groups before and after treatment with reference to GAGS scoring system. Before treatment is17.94±3.68, after a course of treatment the scores are7.69±4.14, the paired samples t test, P=0.000.(2)Qol-acne: Before treatment is49.81±14.50, after a course of treatment the scores are60.13±11.93, the paired samples t test, P=0.004.(3)DLQI:Before treatment is9.88±6.44, after a course of treatment the scores are7.56±6.06, the paired samples t test, P=0.047.(4)Flow adjustable center with depression self rating scale:Before treatment is18±6.50, after a course of treatment the scores are12.5±5.50, the paired samples t test, P=0.000. The score difference is P<0.05, all have statistical significance.(5) In this study, the numbers of cure, remarkable effect, effect and inefficacy were1,4,8and3respectively. The total effective rate was81.25%.The safety evaluation and adverse reactions:After acupuncture treatment two patients have subcutaneous ecchymosis, not special handling, a week after the visit the subcutaneous ecchymosis is dispersed.Fall off and return: Total cases of20cases, treatment of16cases,4cases fall off, the loss rate of20%. After a month have outpatient follow-up or telephone pays a return visit. The majority of patients have no recurrence, a few patients have a tendency to relapse. Parts of the patients adopt other treatment methods, or lost to follow-up, due to some reason cause return incomplete data.Conclusion1. Acne significantly affected the patients’quality of life and mental condition.2. After a period of acupuncture comprehensive treatment, the patients’ acne scores, the quality of life and mental condition were significantly improved.
