Purpose:atrial fibrillation is a common clinical arrhythmia. In recent years, Research in the field of foreign medicine has published several articles in atrial fibrillation clinical guidelines. In2012, the Chinese society of pacing and electrophysiology (China Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology, CSPE) combined with ESC, AHA, CCS, HRS, EHRS, ECAS recently published new guidelines or recommendations related, formulated and published the "atrial fibrillation:current understanding and treatment recommendations—2012", the suggestion is to absorb the latest academic achievements, enriching the revised2010Edition recommended a. Plays an important role in guiding the treatment of atrial fibrillation. The exploration of traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of atrial fibrillation in progress, the domestic scholars have accumulated a wealth of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of atrial fibrillation experience through a large number of clinical practice, found that Chinese medicine for the treatment of atrial fibrillation has certain curative effect. This paper focuses on the system evaluation, an objective evaluation of the effectiveness of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, provide evidence for traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of more real. Methods:This paper adopts computer network retrieval domestic main database of nearly15years, get all the randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation associated with Chinese medicine therapy literature, are selected in accordance with the established evaluation method, divided into single oral Chinese test group and control group. The clinical curative effect, treatment of atrial fibrillation in TCM symptom improvement as the observation index. Screening and information extraction by two researchers independently. Using the improved Jadad scale for quality assessment of included studies. The intervention effect of literature into Meta for application of Cochrane provide RevMan5.2software, effects of grade variable data values using the relative risk or hazard ratio, effect of continuous variable data using standardized mean differences, with the95%confidence interval representation; use Q test and I2value calculation analysis into heterogeneity between studies, the sensitivity analysis of stability assessment; funnel plot to analyze the existence of publication bias. Results:Finally6articles were included comparison of oral Chinese medicine (experimental group) and Western Medicine (control group) of RCT, a total of550cases, all Chinese published. Using the modified Jadad scoring criteria for inclusion in the study of6quality evaluation, only2articles of high quality (4points for1,5points for1), the rest are low quality literature (2points for4). Analysis of the intervention efficacy, oral Chinese medicine treatment may have some effect in reducing paroxysmal AF episodes (P<0.0001), sensitivity analysis shows the effect evaluation of stability. Oral Chinese medicine treatment to improve symptoms in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation is better than single western medicine routine antiarrhythmic therapy (P=0.0005). Sensitivity analysis shows the effect evaluation of stability. Conclusion:Oral Chinese medicine treatment may have some effect in reducing paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, has advantages in improving symptoms than western medicine anti arrhythmic drugs. But this evaluation system is the quality of the included studies are not high, only in the system evaluation is based, is not curative effect for oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation whole to draw the final conclusion, so look forward to the future with RCTs test more rigorously designed to make further evaluation.
