From Phlegm Theory And Literature On The Treatment Of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Stasis

Polycystic ovary syndrome (polycystic ovarian syndrome, PCOS) is a common gynecological diseases. Western medicine diagnosis of the disease is clear, but the pathogenesis is complicated, a simple western medicine treatment has great limitations, and a large number of clinical studies show that, the use of traditional Chinese medicine treatment can effectively control the disease, so the further research on the therapy of traditional Chinese medicine is very necessary. In the theory of TCM, phlegm, blood stasis is the disease pathology product is very easy to form development, but also easy to become the major pathogenic factors. A large number of studies show that, associated with the pathogenesis of PCOS and phlegm, blood stasis, so from the phlegm wet, on the treatment of PCOS has important significance. Through literature research and analysis, discusses the relationship of PCOS with phlegm dampness, blood stasis, and how to get from the phlegm wet, on the treatment of PCOS.1Objective Progress in understanding the pathogenesis of PCOS and research, study the distribution of TCM syndrome type, further discusses the intrinsic laws of PCOS, further organize and explore the phlegm wet, and the association of PCOS, clarify its etiology and pathogenesis, to establish the relationship between the two is more comprehensive understanding of the system, and put forward reasonable suggestions of prevention through the clinical treatment of traditional Chinese medicine; PCOS prescription summarized, summed up effective eliminating phlegm wet, blood stasis stagnation prescription, in order to better for the TCM treatment to provide evidence, to guide the clinical treatment of PCOS. and to provide ideas for research and design of this disease.2Methods PCOS theined collection and analysis of modern literature of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine, and the ancient medical literatures on PCOS related symptoms were collected, and the1993～2013years from the Chinese perspective PCOS literature, statistics which clearly syndrome frequency TCM type of literature, and the extraction of disease location and disease category syndrome factors. Finally, of the traditional Chinese medicine and clinical treatment of PCOS sum.3Results The most common syndrome was phlegm-dampness in the selected66articles. Kidneys, liver and spleen were the top three in the disease locations. The most important syndrome elements are phlegm-dampness and blood stasis. From the results of theoretical study shows the incidence and sputum PCOS wet, blood stasis are closely related, application and eliminating dampness and phlegm and promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis also achieved a very good effect.4Conclusion It showed that the pathology characteristics of polycystic ovarian syndrome were complexity. The pathogenesis of PCOS has a close relationship with the pathogenesis of phlegm dampness, blood stasis. The clinical characteristics of the patients with PCOS to complex syndrome inclusion of actual majority, treatment should pay attention to the liver, kidney, and spleen, application and eliminating dampness and phlegm and promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis should be combined with physiological characteristics of menstrual cycle in different period, and throughout.
