Research On Zhen Dexiu’ Strategic Concept On The Jin Dynasty

Zhen Dexiu as a famous minister about Neo-Confucianism in the Southern SongDynasty, always hoped to make a powerful nation and recover their lost homeland. In faceof the Jin Dynasty and the Mongolian regime’s disturbances and the internal politicalcrisis aggravate of the Southern Song Dynasty, He tried to appeal to the court to repairinterior affairs, strengthen the arms, expediency and pragmatic lifted together. Bothindependence and self-reliance are important. Throughout his life, he wrote dozens ofmemorials about resisting the Jin Dynasty and self-improvement, which is copious andfluent, became a system oneself to constitute his main contents of the strategic concept ofthe resisting Jin Dynasty. Previous studies on Zhen Dexiu are more concentrated in thephilosophical, political, literary and economic thoughts. This paper which selected thestrategy of resisting Jin Dynasty as the object of study, systematically analyzed ZhenDexiu’s strategic thinking of resisting Jin Dynasty. The article is divided into three parts:the first part, from Zhen Dexiu’s time aimed, the paper discussed the background of thestrategic concept; the second part, from Zhen Dexiu’s understanding of the situationbetween the Southern Song Dynasty and the Jin Dynasty, guiding ideology, specificmeasures and stabilizing the country, defending the Mongolian regime four aspectsdiscussed the strategic concept of resisting Jin Dynasty; the third part, from the strategicthought of Zhen Dexiu for the previous strategic thoughts’ inheritance, development andthe positive effect of the national spirit‘s forming, I’ll be on his mind to make a briefevaluation. This paper argues that Zhen Dexiu’s view on the resisting Jin Dynasty strategyis closely integrated with the situation of the Song Dynasty and Jin Dynasty. It embodiesthe political idea, which strengthening, stabilizing the country and revenge, protect thepeople. This is an important component of the ideological system. Through the study, wecan deepen our understanding of the individual of Zhen Dexiu.
