Background: The fracture of tibiofibular is one of common hurt part of humans.According to the report ,the incidence rate is 13.7%. Furthermore ,the tibiofibular fractureis one of the most familiar open fracture. When people were hurt ,the scope of wound isbigger ,the bone broken to pieces and flthy. The aim of the treatment is to make sure theburden ablity of calf,to correct the retotation shift and angular deformity. Currently ,themethods of tibiofibular fracture cure are Conservative treatment and the surgical operationcure such as external fixation as well as open reduction and internal fixtion. Objective: To find an ideal fixation to the fracture of tibia and fibula through studyingthe effect with external fixation apparatus and plate internal fixation respectively. Methods: 40 cases inpatients tibia and fibula were collected. 20 cases were treated byexternal fixation; 20 cases were treated by plate internal fixtion. Statistic test was used tocure effect ,infectious rate of bone fracture ,delayed healing and unhealing rate.Results:①Acoording to the ache improvement comparison between two groups ,theexternal fixation group is better 1st day after operation (P<0.05),but there is on obviousdifference between two groups on 10-14th day, 6th week, 12th week and 18th week(P>0.05).②The result of the function comparison between two groups is the externalfixation is better than internal fixation (P<0.05).③the X-ray image of the internalfixation after operation is obviously better than external fixation (P<0.05).Conclusion: the external fixation is better than internal fixation on the improvement ofache the 1st day after operation and function ;the X-ray image of internal fixation isobviously better than external fixation.
