Objective To investigate the uncertainty in illness of patients with cervicalcancer and its relationship with social support and copingstyle;Explore the effect of personalized information support interventionson uncertainty in illness of patients with cervical cancer.Methods The research objects were selected from The Guangxi medicalunniversity affilitaed tumor hospital Gynecoloic Oncology hospitalized fromSeptember2012and September2013of160patients with cervicalcancer.Application of the general questionnaire, illness uncertainty Scale(MUIS-A), Social Support Scale (SSRS) and the Medical Coping Questionnaire(MCMQ) questionnaire.Research object were randomly divided into controlgroup(74cases)and intervention group(86cases) by using the random numbertable method.The control group received conventional health education,intervention group patients given targeted support for personalized informationbased on conventional health education,the two groups in the hospital before1day of uncertainty in illness scale questionnaire, in order to compare two groupsof level of uncertainty in illness. The data were analyzed by SPSS16.0 descriptive analysis.Results Cervical cancer uncertainty in illness mean score is(78.91±9.342)points,ambiguity score is (47.69±7.461) points, complexity score is (31.22±3.231) points; Cervical cancer patients social support score is (37.12±7.516)points, subjective support score is(21.47±6.112)points, objective support scoreis (9.41±1.717) points, to support the exploitation degree score is(6.23±1.994) points, Social support and uncertainty in illness was negativelycorrelated (P<0.01).Cervical cancer patients coping ways respectively face is(19.28±2.614)points, avoid is(17.56±2.124)points, the yield is(12.9±1.433)points. Significant positive correlations were found between Cervical canceruncertainty in illness and yield (P<0.01), there were negative correlationsbetween Cervical cancer uncertainty in illness and facing(P <0.05) and avoiding(P <0.05). Intervention group patients discharged when the uncertainty in illnessscore is (71.71±7.830)points; Control patients discharged when the diseaseuncertainty score is (78.05±11.352) points, by T test, statistical significance wasfound between two groups of patients (P <0.05).Conclusions The uncertainty in illness of degree with cervical cancerpatients is medium.Get more social support in patients with lower uncertainty inillness; The patients who use yield the uncertainty in illness is high, who usethe face and the way of avoiding the uncertainty in illness is low. Providepersonalized information support can help reduce the uncertainty in illness ofpatients with cervical cancer. |
