| Objective:Investigate the relationship between the HPV16,18infection and esophageal carcinoma in Guangxi region with p53expression.Methods:We collected106patients’Esophageal paraffin embedding tissue from pathology department of Guangxi medical university affiliated tumor hospital from2009.1to2010.1,and researched the infections of HPV type16/18E6, E7gene expression in the samples including24normal esophageal tissue (esophageal mucositis lesions outside5cm by endoscopic),26esophageal biopsy samples (did not take surgery after biopsy) and56esophageal resection group by PCR; immuno-histochemical SP staining was used to detect p53. and statistically analyzed data using (?)2test or Exact probabilities by SPSS19.0statistical software, correlation analysis using spearman..Results:(1) In the samples including normal esophageal tissue, esophageal biopsy samples and esophageal resection group, the infections rate of HPV type16,18was increasing, and p53expression rate has gradually increased (P<0.05)(2) Among the different clinical stages of the esophageal carcinoma, tumor grades and lymph node metastasis, the positive rate of HPV16,18significantly increased in resection group, and p53expression rate has gradually increased (P <0.05)(3) Compare the HPV16/18infection and p53protein positive to theirs negative resection groups, the survival rate was significantly different(P<0.05).(4) HPV16/18and P53maybe have participated in the pathological process of esophageal carcinoma of tumorigenesis, progression and metastasis, and there is positive correlation with each other. Conclusions:In different esophageal tissues, HPV16/18E6, E7infection and p53gene mutation rate is different, the difference was statistically significant, HPVE6, E7and p53protein in esophageal squamous cell could be used as an important reference for malignant potential. Esophageal resection tissue HPV infection and p53expression was not associated with age and sex, but maybe related to the histological grade, clinical stage, lymph node metastasis, therefore, HPV16/18and P53maybe have participated in the pathological process of esophageal carcinoma of tumorigenesis, progression and metastasis, and there is positive correlation with each other. |
