Objective: To Study the effects of Scalp body acupuncture combined rehabilitationtherapy for balance disorders after strokeMethods: According to random number table method,90patients with Balancedisorders after Stroke were devided into three group: Scalp-body acupuncture combinedrehabilitation therapy (Treatment group),Body acupuncture combined rehabilitationtherapy (Control group one) and Rehabilitation therapy (Control group two).Penetration needling method combined with lifting-thrusting technique was applied tothe patients’ scalp acupuncture point.Retain the needle for two hours.Twist the needlecontinuously for2-3minutes and repeat this manipulation2times during retain period.Reinforcing-reducing method was applied to the patients’ body acupuncture point.Retain the needle for half an hour. Rotate needle once. The patient accepted thetreatment once a day, six times a week, during four weeks. Limb balance functionrehabilitative degrees,motor balance function level and daily life ability were assessedby using Berg,brief Fugl-Meyer and Bartheis ADL indexes assessment methods toinvestigate therapeutic effects of Scalp body acupuncture combined rehabilitationtherapy on balance disorders after stoke.Results:1.Compared three groups before and after treatment,there were significantdifferences in Berg scoresã€Fugl-Meyer scoresã€MBIscores (P<0.05).2.After treatment,the effect in Scalp-body acupuncture combined rehabilitation therapy (Treatmentgroup)was significantly superior to those in Body acupuncture combined rehabilitationtherapy and Rehabilitation therapy (P<0.05).3. Body acupuncture combinedrehabilitation therapy and Rehabilitation therapy have no significant difference(P>0.05). Conclusion:1.Both of Scalp body acupuncture combined rehabilitation therapy andBody acupuncture combined rehabilitation therapy can improve post-stroke patients ’balance and the activities of daily living.2. Scalp-body acupuncture combinedrehabilitation exercise has a good therapeutic effect on balance disorders after stoke. |
