Objective: To detect the expression of HIF-1α and MMP-2inNSCLC(Non-small-cell lung cancer), then to evaluate the clinicalsignificance and correlation of the expression of HIF-1αand MMP-2inNSCLC.Methods:82NSCLC who underwent surgical resection at the fourthAffiliated Hospital of Hebei Medical University from February2012toJanuary2014and20control specimens from the normal lung tissue wereselected as objects. The expression of HIF-1α and MMP-2were analyzedin82NSCLC and20control specimens by immunohistochemistry assay. Allstatistical manipulations were performed with the SPSS13.0for Windowssoft ware system. The relations of clinical factors and expression of HIF-1αand MMP-2were performed by Pearson Chi-Square test. The correlation ofHIF-1α and MMP-2was analyzed by Spearman Correlation Coefficients.Differences were considered significant when P<0.05,Differences wereconsidered remarkable significant when P<0.01.Results:1The positive expression rates of HIF-1α in NSCLC and in normallung tissue were72.0%and10.0%, the positive expression rates of MMP-2in NSCLC and in normal l ung tissue were69.5%and15.0%. Differenceswere significant (P<0.01).2The positive expression of HIF-1α in NSCLC was correlated withgrading, lymphatic metastasis or TNM stage (P<0.05), and was notcorrelated with gender, age or histologic subtype (P>0.05).3The positive expression of MMP-2in NSCLC was also correlatedwith grading, lymphatic metastasis or TNM stage (P<0.05), and was notcorrelated with gender, age or histologic subtype (P>0.05).(4) The expression of HIF-1α was positively correlated with the expression ofMMP-2in NSCLC(P<0.05, r=0.524).Conclusion:1Both The positive expression of HIF-1α and MMP-2were correlatedwith grading, lymphatic metastasis or TNM stage.2HIF-lα expression level was positively correlated with MMP-2inNSCLC.they may closely correlates with progression, invasion andmetastasis of lung carcinoma.... |
