Research On The Relationship Between Social Support、Resilience And Psychological Stress Of The Armed Police Tactical Unit New Recruits

In recent years, scholars pay more attention to the research of psychological stress. They study different people from different angles, and achieve results. After consulting researches that have been done, we can find that the military psychological stress is much concerned by many scholars. The military work in special environment and handle special tasks, which make them under more psychological stress. The study on psychological stress helps to improve the comprehensive quality of the military and the fighting capacity of the army. As one of the special military branches, the armed police are easily under psychological stress because of their special tasks. So they are worth studying. New recruits are the source of the army talents construction, so they should be given more positive attention. Therefore, this study selected480recruits of the armed police as the research objects, exploring their psychological stress when they first join the army, and the relationship between the recruits’ psychological stress, current situation and the social support. The study can provide a scientific reference to improve the military ability of handling psychological stress. We get the following results:1. The social support of the Armed Police Tactical Unit recruits rank overall in the medium level, and there is significant difference in social support and its some dimension in the educational level, whether the only child, source of soldiers and other demographic variables;2. The resilience of the Armed Police Tactical Unit recruits stays overall in the medium level, and there is significant difference in resilience and its some dimension in the age, educational level, whether the only child, and other demographic variables;3. The psychological stress of the Armed Police Tactical Unit recruits stays overall located above average, and there is significant difference in demographic variables such as educational level, whether the only child, ect.4. Social support and resilience of the Armed Police Tactical Unit recruits respectively have significant negative correlation to psychological stress; social support and resilience have significantly positive correlation; there are also some significant correlation between social support and resilience part dimension as well as it with psychological stress;5. Social support and resilience of the Armed Police Tactical Unit recruits have a negative forecast effect on the psychological stress.6. According to the Mediating effect analysis, the resilience of the Armed Police Tactical Unit recruits plays a partial mediating role between social support and psychological stress.7. Under different psychological stress, the new recruits with a score of T are of great difference in social support and resilience. The new recruits with a score less than70in the test of psychological stress gets higher scores in the test of social support and resilience than the new recruits with a score more than70.8. The effect analysis shows that, the new recruits’psychological stress works as a medium between the social support and resilience.
