Study On The Quality Standards Of Tibetan Medicine Pterocephali Herba

Pterocephali Herba is whole plant of Pterocephalus hookeri (C.B.Clarke) Hoeck.It is commonly used drugs in tibetan medicine. It shows the effects of’Qufeng tongbr,and so on.Ursolic acid as a reference substance in TLC identification, ursolic acid and oleanolic acid as reference substance by HPLC assay under "Chinese Pharmacopoeia"(2010edition) a "Pterocephali Herba" reproduces. since this the two components are also present in many other plants, the lack of quality control specificity.Objective:1. Establishment of Pterocephali Herba has some special properties of TLC identification and HPLC method for the determination. Of the "Chinese Pharmacopoeia"(2010edition a) Pterocephali Herba quality standards be revised and improved.2. Determination of the content of Triplostoside A, loganin and total saponins in in different medicinal parts of Pterocephali Herba.and from the perspective of protecting Tibetan medicine resources comprehensive utilization of its resources to the practical significance.Methods:1. Using silica gel column chromatography method, the separation of the chemical constituents of Pterocephali Herba, combined with’H-NMR,13C-NMR spectroscopic structures were elucidated.2. The content of different medicinal parts total saponins in Pterocephali Herba was determined by UV.3. Using the TLC method to identify Triplostoside A and Loganin of Plerocephali Herba,Using the HPLC method to determine the contents of Triplostoside A and Loganin of Plerocephali Herba. Results:1. Isolated from Pterocephali Herba three compounds were identified as: Triplostoside A, Loganin, Oleanolic acid.2. The average content of total saponin in whole plant, ground and underground parts of Pterocephali Herba.7.36%,5.09%,8.72%.3. The established TLC method of Pterocephali Herba by Triplostoside A and loganin;Established HPLC method of Pterocephali Herba by Triplostoside A and Loganin;The average content of Triplostoside A and Loganin of Pterocephali Herba in ground were0.25%,0.12%; The average content of Triplostoside A and Loganin whole plant and underground parts of Pterocephali Herba were:0.27%,0.11%;0.31%,0.10%.Conclusion:1. In Triplostoside A, loganin as reference to improve the quality control of specificity Pterocephali Herba, revised and improved "Chinese Pharmacopoeia" licorice quality standards, Pterocephali Herba and its compound preparation of quality control to provide a scientific basis.2. Analyzed and compared the content of Triplostoside A, loganin and total saponins in in different parts of Pterocephali Herba, combined with the current Tibetan medicine hospital clinical practice, as well as modern chemistry, pharmacology experimental research progress, from the protection of Tibetan medicine resources angle, made of Tibetan medicine licorice aboveground parts of its recomm endations.
