Public health is a livelihood issue closely related to people’s well being. With the advance of new medical reform to radically change the situation of the medical market in China, the medical market in basic level grows rapidly and become a huge emerging market. As an important brand of the medical market in basic level, community health care is gradually attached more and more importance. How to become competitive in this market is a problem that every medical company faces.This article introduces the current situation of the new medical reform in China and the changes the new medical reform brings to the market, explains the basic concepts of service strategy and analyses community health care, an important brand of the medical market in basic level. Next, the article analyses the necessity and feasibility of the choosing of service strategy in the current fierce competition of community medical market by means of the Five-Force Model of Porter and SOWT. On this basis, the article puts forward the location and operation model of service strategy for H Company. Finally, the article gives suggestions on how to put the strategy into practice. This study not only explores and guides H Company how to form core competence but also explores a new way for the cooperation of different industries.
