With the rapid development of economic and cultural level in China, people’s awareness of dental care has been enhanced continuously, and the demands for seeking high quality of stomatological service have become more and more urgent. Accordingly, private oral care industry flourish continuously in recent years. As this industry is a pure handicraft industry, consumables used in the treatment may have a great loss in each process of material flow. Technical operation is one of the reasons, but more loss are caused by lack of quantitative management, or lack of supervision and so on. Relying only on human resource management is far from enough, we should rely more on advanced concepts and techniques for comprehensive management in order to realize the expenditures minimization and the benefits maximization.In this paper, we analyze some defects in the operation process of a local dental clinic in Hangzhou city after reviewing the current research in fields of logistics and process management. By combining the principles of business process reengineering and logistics information technologies, we re-design the process of conventional processes of the dental clinic, and propose a closed-loop management mode including optimized business process, material flow and financial settlements process. This mode realizes the whole information management which can track each changes of information, avoid any loss of material, and achieve maximum returns on investment. The practice has universal guiding significance for development and standardization management of private stomatology.
