Objective:1. Understand the sexual attitudes and sexual life of married adult male during wife pregnancy in Changsha city.2. Influencing factors related to quality of sexual life during wife pregnancy, was explored for making scientific guidance around the growth period of sexual health, and improve the quality of marital sex and and child health.Methods:Our study is a descriptive research and husbands of1250wifes with more than37weeks of pregnancy were investigated from May2011to January2013, in obstetrics women school in3rd xiangya hospital, CSU, including1140for the complete information. Questionnaire including questionnaire of male general information, eysenck meet test table, the husband of his wife’s sexual knowledge during pregnancy test table, sex during pregnancy, basic knowledge, sex during pregnancy table (including:what issues need pay attention to sexual intercourse during pregnancy, gestational sources of sexual knowledge, sexual intercourse during pregnancy problems). All data were processed using SPSS17.0statistical software, statistical methods including statistical description, chi-square test and Spearman correlation coefficient analysis, with significant P<0.05.Results:1. The survey results show that the male in Changsha city wife whether can undertake sex during pregnancy on the understanding of the serious deficiencies, there are629people (55.2%) of husbands think that during pregnancy can sexual activity, but with cautions, there are413people (36.2%), of husbands think of pregnancy cannot sexual activity, but also with a strong desire for sex. There are98people (8.5%) of husbands feel not sure on the knowledge of sex during wife pregnancy; There are723people (63.4%) think that sexual intercourse during pregnancy can affect the fetus,210people (18.4%) expressed uncertainty. Because her husband fear of sexual intercourse will affect maternal and infant offered by itself not sexual intercourse during pregnancy (68.3%) of779people. While92.7%of men indicated that during pregnancy the lack of relevant knowledge, and hope to be able to get the correct guidance of medical staff.2. From the point of the frequency and time of marital sex, by variable frequency, less time change from long to short, wife weeks pregnancy was found to be inversely associated with the frequency and time of having sex with her husband, this is in his wife’s physiological and psychological changes during pregnancy, is primarily to protect the health of the fetus. Understanding of Changsha in male sex related knowledge of pregnancy there is a serious lack of knowledge about pregnancy, the sexual life between husband and wife, need to be further standardized, perfecting and popularizing the scientific guidance, both husband and wife, harmonious, safe sex through this special period.2. Changsha area male in his wife sexual satisfaction is relatively low, suggesting we are concerned about the safety of mother and infant health, at the same time, should also be concerned about the male sex.3. On the stage of pregnancy male sexual life, we should give correct guidance, in improving their sexual satisfaction at the same time, to avoid the damage on mother and infant.
