Objective The purpose is to study the prevention and treatment of compound raspberry extract for diabetes.Methods Through six weeks of high-fat feeding combined with twice low-dose STZ induced, we establish the model of type2diabetes in mice. Before and after the established mice, we use drug intervention via lavage, and the group is as follows:48four weeks Kunming mice were divided into6groups, respectively on a high-fat diet group, diabetes group, diabetes with saline group, the compound raspberry extract prevention group, compound raspberry extract instant prevention group, the compound raspberry extract treatment group. During the first six weeks’establishing models, prevention group was gastric gavage with compound raspberry extract, the other groups were given saline lavage, and to detect the prevention role of compound raspberry extract; On the day of the secondary abdominal injection of STZ, the instant prevention group began to be given compound raspberry extract to detect real-time protection. The next3weeks treatment group is to test the effect of compound raspberry extract; Oil red O staining to observe the liver fat accumulation, western blot detection of PPAR alpha expression in liver.Results Compound raspberry extract could reduce the rate of mouse model of type2diabetes induced by the above methods. Oil red O staining showed that mice liver lipid drops in the treatment group was obviously less than diabetes group. There is no significant difference of PPAR alpha expression in liver between the drug intervention group and diabetes group and high-fat feeding group.Conclusion Compound raspberry extract has certain preventive effect on the incidence of type2diabetes, and it can significantly improve liver fat accumulation in type2diabetic mice, and it has certain protective effect on the liver structure, its effect does not depend on the increasing expression of PPAR alpha in liver.
