Objective:To investigate the serum visfatin levels and therelationship between serum visfatin levels and glycose and lipid metabolismin gestational diabetes mellitus.Methods:Women accepted systematic examination in the FirstAffiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University and Maternal and ChildHealth Register in ZhongShan Distric of Dalian from August2012toDecember2012,taking oral glucose tolerance test between24weeks and28weeks.Among the total,GDM group44cases,NGT group46cases.All thecases were picked forearm vein blood after limosis,were detected serumvisfatin by ELISE,fasting serum glucose(FPG),fastinginsulin(FINS),triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),measured height andweight to calculate the BMI,computed homa-insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR) and homeostasis β-cell function index (HBCI).To analyse thedifference of the serum visfatin level between two groups and therelationship of serum visfatin level with indicators of general information,glucose and lipid metabolism.Result:1.Fasting serum visfatin levels in the GDM group are significantlyreduced compared with the NGT group(17.42±17.66ng/mlvs28.81±21.81ng/ml).The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.FPGã€FINSã€HOMA-IR and TG in the GDM group are higher than thatin the NGT group (5.51±0.47mmol/L vs4.38±0.41mmol/Lã€20.63±6.61μU/mL vs16.02±10.71μU/mLã€5.06±1.74vs2.84±0.99ã€2.51±0.78mmol/L vs2.08±0.39mmol/L).The difference was statisticallysignificant(P<0.05).HBCI in the GDM group are lower than that in the NGT group(216.13±92.72vs289.10±134.85).The difference was statisticallysignificant(P<0.05).3.Serum visfatin level is negatively correlated with TG〠FINS andHOMA-IR(r=-0.241,P=0.044;r=-0.269,P=0.024;r=-0.271,P=0.023)。Conclusion1.Serum visfatin levels which is negatively correlated with FINS and IRin gestational diabetes mellitus decrease. visfatin acrinia is associated withthe pathogenesis of GDM.2.Gestational diabetes mellitus has high insulin resistance,hightriglyceride.Glucose and lipid metabolism exist in gestational diabetesmellitus.3.Serum visfatin level is negatively correlated with glucose and lipidmetabolism.Visfatin may contributes to the pathogenesis of gestationaldiabetes mellitus. |
