At present, the cardiovascular disease has become one of the major diseases which endanger human health in our country. ECG has become an important means of diagnosis of cardiovascular disease. Today, the ECG monitors have many disadvantages such as big size,high cost,and the most important is that it can’t long-term monitoring in real-time. With the development of the Internet of things, medical equipments will become small, intelligent, networked, which makes the ECG monitoring from hospitals and wards to families possible. So developing an ECG monitoring system which is protable,low cost,remote communication and waveform disply in real time has great significance. Therefor, a portable home ECG monitor and a simulated software platform of remote medical diagnosis center has been developed. Experiments show that ECG monitor can measure and display ECG data. And it can send data to remote medical diagnosis center which through the way that ZigBee module communication with home gateway then forward by home gateway, or through GPRS module directly. It realizes the ECG waveform display, storage and query and reach the expected goal finally.In Chapter1, the background and significance of subject is described. The review of current situation and trend about the ECG monitor and the Internet of things technology in domestic and abroad is introduced.In Chapter2, some basic such as signal generation principle,detection method, signal characteristics, disturbance factors and the waveform features are described briefly. The functional requirements of the ECG monitor are analyzed. Besides, the system structure is presented.In Chapter3, the hardware design of home ECG monitor is introduced. Firstly, ECG signal conditioning circuit with AD620and other chips is designed. It includes preamplifier, right-leg-driven, band-pass filter, band-stop filter, level elevation and power circuit, and it can adjust the lower signal form II lead. Then, the peripheral circuit of processor S3C2440including LCD display, SD memory, key circuit and serial interface circuit are designed. It can display and store the ECG data. And it can send data to home gateway by ZigBee or to remote medical diagnosis center by GPRS.In Chapter4, the software design of home ECG monitor is described. The embedded operation system and the transplanting process of uC/OS-II kernel on the microprocessor is introduced firstly. Then, the design of each task of applications are described in detail including main task, AD task, key task, ZigBee task, GPRS task and SD task. In the end, the design of wireless data transmission between ZigBee modules realized based on communication protocol of ZigBee is also described.In Chapter5, the design of software of home gateway and remote medical diagnosis center is introduced respectively. The program of home gateway implements data collection of home ECG monitor and send data to the DataSocket server by DataSocket technology. Next, the communication between home gateway and medical diagnosis center is completed based on the setting principle of DataSocket server. Last, the functions of reading data from DataSocket server or GPRS, user authentication, saving data, updating the database, automatic ECG monitoring and diagnosis are realized by the program of romote medical diagnosis center based on TCP/IP communication technology and Web publishing technology.In Chapter6, the experiment process of hardware and software of home ECG monitor is intrduced. Experiments show that home ECG monitor based on the Internet of things technology can correctly obtain ECG data and display data on LCD. At the same time, the ECG data can be sent to remote medical diagnosis center by network in real-time. In addition, patient can also surf the Internet to see result and suggestion of his diagnosis from doctor at home.
