Background and objective In spinal surgery, postoperative woundinfection has considered to be the most common and serious complication.Wound infectionwill affect the patient wound healing process, causelocalized pain around the incision, skin necrosis obviously, causepermanent neurological dysfunction, and even systemic sepsis leading todeath. Because of the high incidence and difficult to treat, it has become aspine surgeon urgently needed to overcome the problem, this paper willinvestigate the causes and treatment strategies of lumbar posterior surgicalwound infection after spinal surgery.Methords From Jan.2012to Feb.2013,it purposes a total of383cases of lumbar posterior surgery,202cases of male and female181cases,with an average age of50.89years old. Wound infection occurred a total of18cases,11cases were male and7females, the youngest31years old,maximum77years, with an average age of58.69years old. Combined withprevious literature reports of wound infection risk factors wereretrospectively analyzed one by one, to clarify the relationship of these riskfactors on lumbar posterior surgical wound infection after surgrey. In the same time, the18patients were taken to the sensitive antibiotics, debridement and drainage, strengthen the dressing of treatment, no oneremove the internal fixation.Result In the treatment of sensitive antimicrobial debridement anddrainage, strengthening dressing, the infected incision III/A healing, notsigns of infection and leave cured. Conclusion (1)People who olderly, with diabetes, the operative timeis rather long and serious bleeding are risk factors of wound infection afterlumbar posterior surgery.(2)Postoperative extend the use of antimicrobial drugs and delaydrainage tubes were removed can not effectively reduce the woundinfection rate.(3)The wound infection after lumbar posterior surgery should be insensitive antimicrobial debridement and drainage, strengthening dressingtreatment, keeping within plant. |
