The Preliminary Exploration Of The Relationship Between TCM Constitutional Types And TCM Syndromes Of Primary Dysmenorrhea

Objective:The study aims to explore the relationship between TCM constitutional types and TCM syndromes of primary dysmenorrhea(PD). It is to provide the scientific and objective basis for the doctors who use the constitution theory of TCM in clinical syndrome differentiation and treatment of PD.And to achieve the goal of improving clinical curative effect.Methods:Complying with the principle of clinical epidemiology investigation, using the TCM Constitution Questionnaire developed by Wang Qi and self-prepared questionnaire, the topic would elected the patients who conform to the diagnostic and opting standard of research and take a site investigation. The results of the survey be builded database by EXCEL software and made statistical analysis with SPSS17.0software.Results:1、The TCM constitution distribution of PD five kinds of TCM syndrome.(1) The types of qi and blood stasis syndrome PD are as follows:yang deficiency (35.4%)> qi depression (29.2%)> qi deficiency (22.3%)> peace(14.6%)> blood stasis (10.4%)> damp heat(8.9%)> phlegm dampness (7.3%)> special (5.2%)> Yin deficiency (3.1%);(2) The types of cold-damp stagnation syndrome PD are as follows:yang deficiency (66.2%)> qi deficiency (39.4%)> qi depression (19.4%)> peace (16.9%)> blood stasis (11.5%)> damp heat (8.5%)>special (4.2%)=phlegm dampness (4.2%)=Yin deficiency (4.2%);(3) The types of damp heat and blood stasis syndrome PD are as follows:qi depression (37.1%)>damp heat (35.4%)> peace (14.3%)>Yin deficiency (11.4%)=qi deficiency (11.4%)=phlegm dampness (11.4%)=yang deficiency (11.4%)> blood stasis (8.6%)=special (8.6%);The difference among the constituent ratio of different types of TCM constitution was statistically significant (P<0.05).2、Research of the relationship between TCM constitutional types and TCM syndromes of PD.(1) In the PD patients with qi deficiency constitution,the regression coefficient of qi and blood weakness syndrome is B=1.33,Exp(B)=4.03>1,P=0.01<0.05;(2) In the PD patients with yang deficiency constitution,the regression coefficient B of qi and blood stasis syndrome, cold-damp stagnation syndrome, liver-kidney deficiency syndrome, qi and blood weakness syndrome are1.48,2.71,1.87,1.56,Exp(B)>1,P<0.05;(3) In the PD patients with damp heat constitution,the regression coefficient of damp heat and blood stasis syndrome is B=2.65,Exp(B)=14.13>1,P=0.00<0.05;(4) In the PD patients with peace constitution,the regression coefficient of every kind syndrome are B<1;Conclusion:The relationship between TCM constitutional types and TCM syndromes of PD is as follows:1、In the patients with damp qi and blood stasis syndrome,the yang deficiency,qi depression,qi deficiency are more common;2、In the cold-damp stagnation syndromes,the yang deficiency is the most common;3、In the damp heat and blood stasis syndromes,the qi depression and damp heat are more common;4、In the qi and weakness syndromes,the qi deficiency and yang deficiency are more common.
