The Study Of Service Situation Of Volunteers And The Satisfaction Of Patients

Objective:To investigate the situation of hospice volunteer service work and the situation of the management of hospice volunteers based on the3armour hospital of hunan province of hospice volunteer service condition and the satisfaction questionnaire survey of patients.Compare with other volunteers in the same hospital, find out the advantages of the hospice. Make use of the advantages to complete the hospital volunteer service management mode, reducing the loss of volunteers and integrating the volunteer’s human resources, providing scientific basis for other hospitals volunteer management.Methods:Choice the whole hospice volunteers、the whole volunteers of the same hospital and the whole cancer patients as the research object. To survey the three kinds research objects by hospice volunteer service questionnaire、hospial volunteer service questionnaire and the satisfaction questionnaire. Then analyze through the SPSS17.0.Results:1.91.1%of patients need volunteer services and the service satisfaction is above80%.The satisfaction of the service attitude is83.6%, the satisfaction of the service process is88.5%, the satisfaction of the service project is85.2%.The QOL points of the patients are rising6.3 points by average after the service,and that is to say the volunteer services has a good effect.2. Different gender of patients need different services. Women preferring to accompany chat/read the newspaper and production of mind card/small gift are more than men; Male patients need more knowledge about the disease than female patients.3. Different gender of volunteers choose different services.Male volunteers are more willing to do accompanied, organization patients/families work. The resistance of male volunteers is more heavier than female when participating in volunteer service, men are more likely to get time block.4. The hospice volunteer service is more stability and continuity than other volunteers. Te volunteer service frequency is more flxable than the hospital volunteers,58.3%of the hospice volunteer service frequency is1times/weeks, and52.3%of the hospital volunteer service frequency is below1times/weeks; The hospice volunteer service time is longer than the hospital volunteers,61.7%of the hospice volunteer service are more than2hours/time, and56.9%of the hospital volunteers are less than2hours every time.Conclusion:1.91.1%of patients have the demand of volunteer service.2. The patients’service satisfaction of the hospice is above80%. The QOL points of the patients are rising6.3points by average after the service,and that is to say the volunteer services has a good effect.3. Different gender of patients prefer different services, different gender volunteers choose different services.4. The hospice volunteer service is more stability and continuity than other volunteers. And there is a tip that the management mode of the hospice volunteer may be superior to other management mode of hospital volunteer.5.
