Clinical Study Of The Treatments By Arthroscopic Fixation Of Titanium Cable To The Tibial Eminence Of Torn Fracture

Objective： To investigate the surgical methods of the treatments by arthroscopicfixation of titanium cable to the tibial eminence of torn fracture.To evaluate the clinicalefficacy of the surgical methods.And then we established the clinical norms forarthroscopic treatment of tibial intercondylar anterior eminence fracture with titaniumcable.Methods：Between August2010to December2012,17cases of tibial eminence oftorn fracture were treated in the orthopedic department of our hospital by arthros-copictitanium cable fixation. Follow-up checks were made on the patients and scores were givenaccording to the Lysholm Knee Score of preoperation and postoperation. To evaluate theclinical efficacy of the surgical methods,according to the imaging date, Lysholm KneeScore of preoperative and postoperative.Results： Out of the17patients, all of them were followed up. Followed-up time is6to12months,averge9months. All the cases showed the line of bone fracture healing byX-ray.Postoperative examinations(Lachman,drawer experiment,shaft move experiment)were negative,range of motion improved significantly. The Lysholm Knee Score ofpreoperation was31.35±2.37,and the Lysholm Knee Score of postoperationwas92.47±1.77,There are significant differences between the two (p<0.05).Conclusion： The treatments by arthroscopic fixation of titanium cable to the tibialeminence of torn fracture,firm fixation, minimal surgical trauma, neat and beautifulappearance, less pain and suitability for early knee exercise,to obtain a satisfactory clinicalefficacy.The clinical norms for arthroscopic treatment of tibial intercondylar anterior eminence fracture with titanium cable has been initial established, and it may providereference for clinical applications.
